  • This course provides an overview of the appliance repair career landscape, professional tools, equipment, safety protocols, and OSHA guidelines. Students explore professional ethics and customer service principles undergoing an OSHA 30-Hour Safety Course and preparing for the exam.

  • This course explores electrical circuit theory, testing techniques, component troubleshooting, and general safety. Students develop critical skills in electrical system analysis and learn how to safely handle lockout and tagout procedures.

  • Focusing on gas system mechanics, this course covers leak detection, repair techniques, and installation compliance. Students prepare for the EPA Section 608 Type 1 exam with emphasis on safety and technical precision.

Students explore refrigeration cycle principles, cooling component analysis, and refrigerant handling techniques. The course prepares students for the EPA Section 608 Universal exam, mastering refrigeration technology.

  • This course covers washer types, component analysis, and dryer heating elements. Students develop diagnostic skills for identifying and repairing issues in washing and drying equipment.

  • Students examine range variations, microwave control systems, and oven calibration techniques. The course provides comprehensive understanding of gas and electric cooking technologies and their mechanical and electrical components.
  • This course investigates water inlet systems, drainage mechanics, and repair techniques for dishwashers and garbage disposals. Students develop skills in diagnostics, cleaning, drainage challenges, and pump and motor repairs.

  • Utilizing virtual reality technology (via VR headset or laptop/desktop computer), students engage in workshop laboratory practice and hands-on troubleshooting scenarios. The course emphasizes practical competency through comprehensive assessments.

  • The concluding course prepares students for professional success through a comprehensive final examination, certification test preparation, and professional development coaching.
